Abortion: A womens choice or Murder?
Our society is one of convenience. We get this there and get rid of this hear. A go-go-go nation of millions of people. But does that same notion of instant gratification and convenience apply to pregnancy?
Abortion has been a source of continual strife among the apposing sides. Individuals, families, and governments all toil with this notion of terminating pregnancy. Is the fetus a child and so abortion is murder or is it just putting an end to growing cells?
On the pro-abortion side, the argument states that the choice is the women’s. Her body. Her baby. Her choice. No government can remove the right of an individual to make a choice about the safety and health of their own life. Also legalizing abortions would allow women to have them in safe place with proper medical care instead of a dark alley somewhere.
On the other hand many people, mostly with a religious influence, feel that abortion is murder despite the fact that the child has not been born. They argue from the emotionally charged pity center.
So what is it to be: legal or illegal?

Abortion is a very touchy subject for me. One of the reasons is my fertility issues. I have come to terms with the fact that Im probably never going to have children of my own. And the thought of someone being so selfish and aborting a baby because it would be an inconvenience for them or because they are reckless and do not practice safe sex boils my blood.
That being said there are other options for a woman to have. Adoption or just practicing safe sex to begin with. Abortion should only be used in life or death situations, and rape and incest cases. It should not be used as a form or brith control. Like someone I know who should have 6 kids but only has 1 and 1 on the way. She was visiting the abortion clinic like it was her yearly psychical.
Abortion is not a form of birth control. Condoms, proper sexual education, birth control pills, patches, shots, what ever it takes would lessen the “need” for abortions.
In conclusion I think it is murder. Life is life no matter what stage it is at. Being able to create life is a privilege and honor that not every one is born with.

I like the way you explained that. I just hear people who say its wrong and stuff because they are religious or because they haven’t really thought of it from the other side. but you made a good point on why it is wrong.
I’m kinda both ways.
See, I agree with the part about it being used in only emergencies like rape. Or like for incest or some kind of health reason.
I also think people should be better informed about ways of birth control so they wont have to resort to an abortion.
Another thing: in the article it says something about having a safe place with medical care, which I agree with. That is my main reason that I’m pro choice. because even if you make it illegal doesn’t mean it will stop. it means women and teenage girls will do harmful, unsafe things to their bodies when they panic about getting pregnant.
Also, some people say if you have sex you should deal with the consequences. That is true but then i think of how i knew 12-13 year old girls having sex with like 17 year olds and getting pregnant. those girls defiantly were not old enough or mature enough to make the decision to have sex in the first place so i don’t think its fair to say that they have to deal with their mistake.
I’m understanding of both sides, but I am pro-choice just because i think in some situations it should be OK to get one
