Christ vs. Mohammed
We’re coming out with both guns blazing. Our first topic is a controversial one, so get ready…
Christ vs. Mohammed
Your thoughts?
Remember, you can climb up on a soapbox, you can snark from the gutter, or you can write rationally somewhere in between. Just be honest, be passionate, and be compelling.
(And one more thing: controversy’s great, but just plain cruelty and hate speech aren’t. Watch the boundaries.)

I think the topic sort of sums up the problem for me.

Fair point Anthony, and I understand what you mean. Why not tell us more? We’d love to hear your opinion–see http://yovia.com/smobloggers.html

Ok. I say spit on them both!
I believe in the universal spirit of love. I’m no hippie either! I know of a force that guides my life in honesty and truth. Things don’t always happen in my time frame, but they do seem ( in hindsight) to happen for a reason and EXACTLY as they should. You’ve never noticed how sometimes things just seem to come together and just sort of fall into place? Is that Christ or Muhammad? Hard to SAY right?
How even in your worst moments there are lessons to be learned and some insight gained in each unfortunate event? It is with the spirit of love that we are able to learn and endure these bad times. It is only with the knowledge of this great love that we all are saved. I say believe what you need to stay in touch with the part of yourself that is always honest real and true…..LOVE.

There really is no contest if we are comparing the two figures strictly on what is written about them regardless if you believe in either one. Christ in the Greek means “The Anointed One” according to scripture Jesus is God. Mohammed means prophet of God but not God. So I guess the Christ wins.

The Blog Goddess is on to something–love, truth, and honesty should guide us all.
In today’s world it isn’t really about Christ or Mohammed. Organized religions and those who tout themselves as religious experts have so corrupted the very essence of both that what we are told bares little resemblance to what either was or stood for.

Christ was God on earth.
Mohammed was Satan.
Understand?
